Eligibility Criteria

     ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION:

1. Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination after a period of 12 years of study in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botony and Zoology) and English individually. She should have obtained a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botony and Zoology) at the Qualifying Examination from any recognized board. i.e class 12^th/PUC examination.
2. English should be compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible for admission to B.Sc.(N).

3. 5% of the total marks is relaxed for SC/ST candidates.

4. Candidates should have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31^st December of the year in which admission is sought.

5. Only unmarried female candidates are eligible to apply.

6. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government having Science subjects and English only.

7. The selected candidates must produce an Eligibility certificate from the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai at the time of registration for admission.
8. The candidate should be medically fit.
